Buffalo City TVET College 2nd trimester applications

Applications are now open for the following NATED (Report 191) Engineering programmes:

• Electrical Engineering (N4–N6)
• Mechanical Engineering (N4–N6)
• Civil Engineering (N4–N6)

Admission Requirements

Before you apply, make sure you meet the minimum requirements.

To study any of the Engineering programmes listed above, you must:

• Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Obtain at least 40% in Mathematics.
• Obtain at least 40% in Physical Sciences.

Important Notice

Students who completed Mathematical Literacy will not be accepted into Engineering programmes, even if they achieved a high mark.

Engineering courses require pure Mathematics because the subjects involve technical work and calculations. If you did not take Mathematics in Grade 12, you may need to consider other programmes offered by the college.
